It’s the BLACK lie and the denial that keeps the hostilities so high…
No one in any of today’s Blacks living family has ever been a slave or even experienced strife and oppression. Blacks have lived in a POST-racial society where all of us Blacks have had the SAME opportunities as all other races in this nation and the only differences now in Blacks’ successes or failures are ONLY attributable to to whether Blacks themselves availed themselves of those opportunities. We have ONLY ourselves to blame in these POST-racial days. We can always go back to Africa if we’re not happy here.
Whites simply don’t care anymore (and rightly so) in light of the recent research findings that prove that Blacks are more to blame for their historical plight than reported and that Whites are far more responsible for any freedoms that the Blacks enjoy to this day than any Black individual….especially those thrown up by Blacks from the very small and insignificant 10 or so years of this so called snivel rights movement.
Blacks attempt to balance all blame on this exceedingly small time period because that is all they have to draw from but there is vastly far more to Black history than just the snivel rights. Blacks unethically try to cause us to forget;
☠ That it was Blacks (African Kings and Rulers) that created slavery in collusion and FULL COOPERATION with the Arabs in the first place @680 AD and STILL practice slavery today.
☠ That it was a BLACK man (Anthony Johnson) that CREATED the “Roots” style abusive slavery by challenging indentured servant John Casor in a Virginia Court for his freedom and making John Casor the very first SLAVE in the colonies in the first place. Anthony Johnson< A BLACK MAN, went into court and DEMANDED IT!
☠ In 1860 only a small minority of whites owned slaves. According to the U.S. census report for that last year before the Civil War, there were nearly 27 million whites in the country. Some eight million of them lived in the slave holding states. The census also determined that there were fewer than 385,000 individuals who owned slaves. Even if all slaveholders had been white, that would amount to only 1.4 percent of whites in the country (or 4.8 percent of southern whites owning one or more slaves). In the rare instances when the ownership of slaves by free Negroes is acknowledged in the history books, justification centers on the claim that black slave masters were simply individuals who purchased the freedom of a spouse or child from a white slaveholder and had been unable to legally manumit them. Although this did indeed happen at times, it is a misrepresentation of the majority of instances, one which is debunked by records of the period on blacks who owned slaves. These include individuals such as Justus Angel and Mistress L. Horry, of Colleton District, South Carolina, who each owned 84 slaves in 1830. In fact, in 1830 a fourth of the free Negro slave masters in South Carolina owned 10 or more slaves; eight owning 30 or more.
☠ According to federal census reports, on June 1, 1860 there were nearly 4.5 million Negroes in the United States, with fewer than four million of them living in the southern slave holding states. Of the blacks residing in the South, 261,988 were not slaves. Of this number, 10,689 lived in New Orleans. The country’s leading African American historian, Duke University professor John Hope Franklin, records that in New Orleans over 3,000 free Negroes owned slaves, or 28 percent of the free Negroes in that city. To return to the census figures quoted above, this 28 percent is certainly impressive when compared to less than 1.4 percent of all American whites and less than 4.8 percent of southern whites. The statistics show that, when free, blacks disproportionately became slave masters.
☠ That the largest Black slaveholder in the South, John Carruthers Stanly of North Carolina, faced a number of problems in the 1820s in dealing with a slave labor force on his three turpentine plantations in Craven County. With a total of 163 slaves, Stanly was a harsh, profit-minded taskmaster whose treatment of his slaves was no different than the treatment slaves received from white owners, and his field hands would run away. Stanly’s goal, shared by white southern planters, was on expanding his operations and increasing his profits. Stanley dealt with this through his two white overseers and with a spy network that included a few trusted slaves. Brister, his slave barber in New Bern, was responsible for relaying to his owner rumors of planned escapes …Nor did Stanly have any pangs of conscience about selling children away from their parents or holding free blacks in bondage.” Yes folks, Black on Black predation…just like today.
☠ Add further that in 1830 there were MORE BLACK SLAVE OWNERS THAN WHITE SLAVE OWNERS in South Carolina and very few whites practiced slavery: in 1860 there were 385,000 USA citizens who owned slaves, or about 1.4% of the white population (there were 27 million whites in the USA). That percentage was zero in the states that did not allow slavery (only 8 million of the 27 million whites lived in states that allowed slavery). Incidentally, in 1830 about 25% of the free Negro slave masters in South Carolina owned 10 or more slaves: that is a much higher percentage (ten times more) than the number of white slave owners. Thus slave owners were a tiny minority (1.4%) and it was not only whites: it was just about anybody who could, INCLUDING BLACKS THEMSELVES.
☠ Finally, add the FACT that since slave owners comprised only 1.4% of the total population that the MAJORITY (98%) of the population were ABOLITIONISTS and that the MAJORITY OF WHITES TODAY (98%) are descendants of those abolitionists and thus owe Blacks nothing. In fact it is the Blacks that owe WHITES for their freedom.
So tell me ….where are Black’s admiration and thanks to the predominately WHITE ABOLITIONISTS whom without even their much touted snivel rights wouldn’t have even been possible?
